Prompted to create a large-scale poster that deconstructs a dish, I chose the bagel as a nod to my experience as a native New Yorker. The design highlights a range of bagel sandwich combinations, breaking the carb down into its customizable components- bread, spreads, proteins, toppings, and textures. Using strong visual hierarchy, illustration, and clear information layout, I organized the combinations in a way that feels both structured and playful. The final piece celebrates the versatility of the bagel while demonstrating my ability to use information design to turn a simple concept into an engaging visual system.
