This project was developed as a freelance opportunity to design a sympathy candle with Companion Candles to be sold on Chewy. The goal was to create packaging that felt thoughtful, comforting, and appropriate for moments of loss, while still aligning with a retail environment. The design process involved multiple rounds of feedback and iteration, refining both visual tone and messaging. Early explorations considered a range of color palettes, but the final direction embraced a minimal black-and-white approach to convey simplicity, sincerity, and emotional clarity.
